Mastablasta and his 29 Goons (Part 2)

 I managed to get the  first unit of my Call of the Crown pledge done! And I got it done with two hours of the month to spare! 

A wave of 30 Gnoblars.

After I finished the two Groinbiters I focused on the rest of these guys. I did that by pairing them up  and finishing them off six miniatures at a time. Right up to the flock and tufts. 

This was a great way to stay focused and get these guys done. I relied heavily on the Contrast Paints, but on the second stage I relied a lot on Agrax Earthshade. That was washed over on each figure to give them a dirty and earthy look. 

The noses on these Gnoblars was done using Bloodletter with a final, light, highlight of Pink Horror. 

The weapons were mostly touched up with Cryptek Armourshade and highlighted with Stormhost Silver.  And I was particularly conservative with that highlight as I wanted their metal weapons to looks as rusty and weathered as possible. 

And I did it, finished them in a month! And, in case you missed it, I also finished my Dreadtober pledge as well. Hopefully the rest of these Ogres will be fun as well.
