#ArtistVSart2022 |
It is time for my Annual Review of the models and miniatures that I have completed painted. What a year it was, with a lot of outside real world stuff that sought to steal, compromise and otherwise highjack my hobby time. Heck, it even cut into art time too. But let's out some of the stuff I actually did get finished.
Ultramarines Furibundus Dreadnought
And the last thing I got finished in 2022 was my Dreadtober entry, the old Rogue Trader era Imperial Dreadnought. It's not for lack of desire to do anything, but time has simply not been available. My busy season is the end of October thru the Holidays, plus I had a nasty viral upper respiratory illness in the first half of December that knocked me on my ass. Which is why there has been no updates for over a month now. So I intend to be back into the swing of things by February. I also have artwork that I need to complete as well and that will take priority over my hobby stuff also.
For this upcoming year, well, first of all I am very excited by the new Worldeaters Codex and I hope to get those Berserkers done in time to get some games in with them when the book is released. It's a target, and I'm not sure if I can hit it.
Also I hope to get in some more Ultramarines painted as I enjoyed working with them last year. And I would like to revist the Dark Eldar and get them on the battlefield again. We'll see.
I do have some more old 40k artwork that I did in the late '90s that I want to show you guys in the New Year also but it will be a good while before I can do that.
Not a bad year really, but not as much as I hoped I could accomplish. But 2023 is a new start, so let's see what we can do!

Even if time is a constraint, these are some very nice miniatures and a great haul nontheless!
Thanks! I am pleased that I managed to get these done and also with how they turned out.
